REMINISCENCE–26: A Farewell Function for MBA Passing-Out Students
The Department of Management Studies and Research, AITM, organized REMINISCENCE–26, a grand farewell function for the MBA Passing-Out Batch (2024–26). The event was filled with nostalgia, celebrations, and heartfelt moments as students reflected on their memorable journey at AITM.
Dr. Suryakumar N. Khanai, Professorand Director, Department of Management Studies and Research, warmly welcomed the gathering and shared his words of wisdom with the graduating students. He encouraged them to uphold professional ethics, embrace lifelong learning, and face future challenges with confidence, resilience, and a commitment to excellence. He wished the graduating MBA students great success in their careers and future endeavors.
On this special occasion, students who demonstrated exceptional performance and leadership in various domains were honored with Excellence Awards.

Insightful Session on Banking Beyond Deposits and Loans – How Banks Drive the Economy
On 19th June 2026, we had the privilege of hosting an enriching session on “Banking Beyond Deposits and Loans: How Banks Drive the Economy” by Mr. Denis Savant, Associate Vice President & Branch Head, Federal Bank, Belagavi City Branch.
The session provided participants with a deeper understanding of the evolving role of banks in fostering economic growth, supporting businesses, enabling financial inclusion, and driving innovation in the financial ecosystem. Mr. Savant shared valuable industry insights and real-world perspectives on how modern banking extends far beyond traditional deposit and lending functions.
The interactive discussion inspired participants to appreciate the significant contribution of the banking sector in shaping a robust and sustainable economy.

Student Development Program on LinkedIn Profile Building
The Department of MBA successfully organized a Student Development Program on LinkedIn Profile Building on 08th May, 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Suhas Rajput, HR Trainer & Recruiter at Proficient Minds, Belagavi.
The program provided students with valuable insights into creating impactful LinkedIn profiles, building professional networks, and enhancing career opportunities in today’s competitive job market.
The interactive session motivated students to strengthen their digital presence and prepare themselves for future professional growth.

AITM MBA FIESTA 2K26 – A Two-Day Mega National Level Management Fest for UG Students
The Department of Management Studies at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management successfully organized AITM MBA FIESTA 2K26, a two-day Mega National Level Management Fest for undergraduate students. The fest aimed to provide a vibrant platform for students from various streams to unleash and exhibit their managerial abilities, teamwork, creativity, and leadership qualities. The event featured a wide range of exciting and competitive activities including Brainy Fiesta, Market-O- Fiesta, Entrepreneur Fiesta, Poster – O – Fiesta, Capture Fiesta, Battle Zone Fiesta, Fashion Fiesta and Dance Fiesta, which became the major attractions of the fest.
The program commenced with an Inauguration Function held in the gracious presence of Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal & Director of AITM, Dr. Suryakumar N Khanai, Director of Department of MBA at AITM and Mr. Roshan Patil, Alumni of AITM along with faculty members, students and participants from various colleges. The program witnessed an overwhelming response from students representing various colleges across the region, making the event a grand success.
The Valedictory Function and Prize Distribution Ceremony of AITM MBA FIESTA 2K26 was held at the AITM Auditorium in the gracious presence of Dr. Prashant Katakol, Founder of The Kaivalyam, as the Chief Guest.
Dr. Suryakumar Khanai, Director, MBA addressed the gathering during Valedictory Function and generously imparted his wisdom to the students. He motivated them to continue striving for excellence and concluded by wishing them happiness and success in all their future endeavours.
The winners of all the events were felicitated with trophies and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances.

VISIT TO MLIRC
 
As part of the academic curriculum, management students undertook a study visit to the Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre (MLIRC), Belagavi on 13th January 2026. The visit provided an inspiring and enriching experience, including an interactive session with Subedar Captain Dighvijay and Senior Army Officers, who shared valuable insights into leadership, discipline and life in the Indian Army. The students were also given the opportunity to witness live shooting demonstrations, visit the regimental museum and tour the MLIRC campus. In a gracious gesture, the Army honored our Professors with tokens of appreciation. The visit was a truly memorable experience that instilled a sense of pride, respect and inspiration among the management students.
AD-MAD CHALLENGE

The Department of Management Studies successfully organized the Ad-Mad Challenge on 2nd December 2025, where BBA and MBA students showcased their creativity, innovation, and marketing skills. The objective of the event was to foster creative thinking, enhance teamwork, and provide students with hands-on experience in developing and pitching promotional ideas. A total of 15 teams participated, each presenting unique and imaginative advertisements for newly conceptualized products. Under the guidance of Dr. Shivanand Kagawade, students explored practical aspects of advertising, branding, and persuasive communication.

A New Beginning, An Induction Program for Newly Admitted MBA Students, Batch 2025-27 Formal Inaugural Function of Post Graduation (MBA, MCA & M.Tech) Programs at AITM. Parents Meeting was also organized on this day. The objective was to introduce vision, mission and principles of SAEF’s AITM. Further, the meeting aimed to improve communication between parents and educators, and to create a space for collaboration and mutual understanding.

A farewell is an expression of good wishes at a parting!!! 

As a gesture of acknowledgement for the guidance and solidarity, juniors offered farewell to their seniors on 8th August 2025.For the academic year 2024-25, MBA@AITM recognized the students with awards as: The Best Manager, The Best Marketing Manager, The Best Finance Manager, The Best HR Manager and The Best Event Manager based on their overall performance.Overall the day was filled with fun and excitement! 

MBA STUDENTS VISIT TO NISM MUMBAI
Industrial visits for MBA students are crucial for bridging theory with practice, offering real-world insights into industry operations and developing practical skills that enhance career readiness.
With this objective, the Students of MBA @ AITM had a visit to National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) Mumbai from 17.03.2025 to 20.03.2025.
A PANEL DISCUSSION ON UNION BUDGET 2025-26
The students of MBA@AITM and ACCS witnessed A Panel Discussion on Union Budget 2025-26 on 17.02.2025.
The panel discussion witnessed expert’s view on various facets of Union Budget; such as Entrepreneurship, Personal Financial Manager, Agriculture, MSME and overall Indian Economy etc.
CA Abhay Pai & CA Vinayak Asundi leading Chartered Accountants from Belagavi, Dr. Basavaraj Kudachimath from VTU Belagavi, Dr. S. R. Bharamanaikar & Dr. Suryakumar Khanai from SAEF’s AITM were the panel members.
INTELLECTUAL TALK
A Guest Lecture was organized on the topic “Human Rights” on 06.01.2025 for MBA students.
Prof. Balagouda G Patil, Senior Faculty Member having more than three decades of academic experience, currently serving in S S Arts and T P Science Institute Sankeshwar was the resource person.
Prof. Patil during the interaction with students said that Human Rights are a set of principles that recognize the inherent dignity of all people and their right to live free from fear, discrimination and harassment. They include the right to:
Life and liberty, Freedom from slavery and torture, Freedom of opinion and expression, Work and education, Be free from cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment, Privacy etc…
AITM MBA FIESTA 2K25 ,
A MEGA NATIONAL LEVEL MANAGEMENT FEST 4th and 5th March 2025.
A Two-Day Mega National Level Management Fest for UG Students witnessed several events such as Brainy Fiesta – The Best Manager, Market-O-Fiesta – The Marketing Event, Face Off Fiesta – The Debate, Biz Fiesta – The B Plan, CSR Fiesta – The Corporate Social Responsibility and Capture Fiesta – Photography, Videography and Blogging…
These events not only aimed at combining fun with team spirit, talent and creativity but also tried to test the ability of student participants in real life corporate scenarios to enhance their overall personality and equip them for their career.

2024-25

AITM MBA FIESTA 2K24, Unleashing the Brilliance Together,
A Mega National Level Management Fest for UG students was organised on 5th and 6th February 2024.
There was an overwhelming response with more than 450 participants from various UG colleges.
The event gave an opportunity for the students to participate in eight events including Fashion Show and Dance.
Students performance throughout the event was truly amazing. Two days of unparalleled excitement, learning, fun and of course memories !!!
1. Department of MBA@AITM celebrated the Human Rights Day on December 13, 2023 

To commemorate International Human Rights Day, which is observed annually on December 10.The event was graced with the presence of Dr. Purnima Pattanshetti Retd. Professor RCU Belagavi, Prof. Ashwini Parab Faculty Member R. L. Law College Belagavi, Dr. S R Bharamanaikar Professor at MBA@AITM, Dr. Suryakumar Khanai Director Department of MBA, Faculty Members and students.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was adopted 73 years ago on 10 December, was a revolutionary moment in history because it established the basic requirements with regard to equality, justice, dignity, cultural, social and economic rights that all the countries of the world must adhere to.

The event provided an opportunity for the management students to perform role play and deliver speech on different topics for the holistic development. A panel discussion was also conducted on Human Rights with an objective to create awareness about human rights

 
2.A workshop on “Personality Development” was organized for MBA students at MBA@AITM on 06.12.2023.

The main objective of the Workshop was to help the students to promote interpersonal communication thereby facilitating all round development of personality. Prof. Vishalkeerti Patil, Training and Placement Officer (TPO) AITM had interacted with the students as a resource person.

3.Industrial Tour 

As a part of academic curriculum, an Industrial Tour was organized for MBA final year students between 29th November 2023 and 1st December 2023. The aim was to gain practical knowledge about various functional departments operating in an organization.

The tour was comprised of three industry visits;

5 .TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION

“Teachers Day” was celebrated for all the teachers of Suresh Angadi Education Foundation on 4th and 5th September 2023. Two days were filled with recreation, cultural and sports events.Smt Mangal Suresh Angadi ji, Chairperson of SAEF and hon’ble Member of Parliament, Belagavi was the President for the function. The event was conducted in the gracious presence of Dr. Spoorti Angadi Patil and Mrs Shradha Shettar, Directors of SAEF

Shri Raju Joshi Administrator SAEF, Dr Anand Deshpande Principal and Director of AITM, Dr Suryakumar N Khanai Director of Department of MBA, all the Heads of the Institution, Deans, HoDs, Teaching staff of entire SAEF, Non-Teaching staff and students were also present.

It was indeed a great opportunity for the students and staff of Department of MBA to coordinate and host such a mega event.
